Nai Yang Beach is located in the protected environs of Sirinath National Park and also conveniently adjacent to the international airport, boasts a rich ecosystem of shoreline, wetland and marine environments, with wind-break trees, mangrove, and coral reefs. The small mangrove forest is home to many bird species such as kingfishers and sandpipers. The extensive coral reefs lying off the white-sand beach are the spawning grounds of sea turtles and sand crabs. The beach itself is quiet and restful, and numerous trails lead inland. Camping sites are available.
